Gliding Window
The Renewal by Andersen gliding window is composed of two independent sashes that slide side to side for ventilation. The gliding window style is offered in other configurations such as a gliding stationary and a gliding picture window. A gliding stationary is composed of one stationary sash and one operable sash with a half screen on the operable portion. A gliding picture window has two operable sashes located on each side of a center picture sash all within one frame. The gliding picture window is available in two different configurations: 1:1:1 ratio where each sash is equal in size or a 1:2:1 ratio where the center picture sash is twice the size of the sliding side sashes. Gliding windows are suitable in areas facing walkways, decks, or other high traffic areas because they do not project outward. Gliding windows are not recommended over counter, cabinets, sinks, or other obstructed areas - sliding operation may be difficult or uncomfortable.

Sash Lock & Keeper - Cam-type sash lock mounted on the center of the operating sash; a second lock may be ordered.
Pull - The gliding window may be ordered with a hand pull mounted on the sash.
